The Junior High Focus youth group traveled to “Grace Adventures” in Mears Michigan October 3rd-5th. While there, they attended a “Purity and Holiness” retreat. The main focus of the weekend was to better learn how to make decisions that are in line with God’s word, cultivate healthy relationships and how to take a guarded stand against sin and temptation. Other topics discussed included: dating, Christian values and the importance of “pre-deciding” personal boundaries before they are faced with tough decisions. Biking, gym activities and climbing a rock wall were a few of the fun activities they were able to participate in while at Grace. The teens were also invited to hike to the Silver Lake sand dunes and were blessed to be able to watch a magnificent sunset! Praise God for the information they received while at Grace!
